Curtis Panasuk is a creativity consultant who teaches professional development workshops that show teachers how to better engage students using creativity techniques such as mind-mapping, lateral thinking, brainstorming, etc.  He is a former high-school and middle-school teacher who transformed C students into B students.  He was a creative thinker at Apple and Intel, and a magazine editor, and he knows how to motivate and inspire an audience with wit and charm.

He is based in San Jose, and he travels to work with schools around the country. Curtis is very passionate about innovation and creativity, and he has been called the “Johnny Appleseed of Creativity” (another Ohio product) as he travels around teaching out-of-the-box-thinking and creativity techniques.

His articles have been quoted in the Los Angeles Times, San Francisco Chronicle and San Jose Mercury. Curtis has a Russian last name (Panasuk) from his grandfather who emigrated through Ellis Island in 1917 during the Russian revolution. His grandfather made it out of Russia because he was creative enough to stay one step ahead of the communists.
